He brings his children with him on these voyages, and he brings his work with him.

There are a lot of benefits to having the lifestyle of a digital nomad.  Being able to work while traveling… As mentioned, I have visited 81 countries on six continents, and I did this while working at the same time.  I did not do this as a solo backpacker in my 20’s.  I happen to be 41 and travel.  I’m not sure, exactly, if you are a mom, or a dad, or part of a couple, or if you are running solo.  I have traveled solo, and as a couple, and as a dad with three young kids.
